Project Gorgon How to Become a Druid

Project Gorgon How to Become a Druid

You cannot unlock Druid early in Project Gorgon. To become a Druid, you must first level any combat skill to 50, then travel to the Druid Camp in the northeast corner of Sun Vale and pledge at the altar outside the encampment. That is the only way to unlock the skill.

Druid is classified as a Combat Skill with a max level of 90. It also comes with special mechanics called Druid Events that affect all active Druids on the server. Before committing, it helps to understand what you are signing up for.

How To Unlock Druid In Project Gorgon

To gain access to Druid, you need to meet a single requirement and then visit a specific location.

  • Reach level 50 in any Combat Skill

  • Travel to the Druid Camp in the northeast corner of Sun Vale

  • Interact with the altar outside the encampment to pledge yourself

Once you pledge, Druid becomes available. Silvia, located near the shrine, teaches core Druid abilities.

There is no shortcut and no alternative unlock path. You must hit level 50 in another combat skill first.

Where To Train And Unlock Higher Levels

After unlocking Druid, you will train and expand it through specific NPCs across the world.

  • Silvia in Sun Vale teaches early abilities

  • Azalak in Serbule teaches additional abilities

  • Lady Windsong in Rahu unlocks levels 51 to 60 and 61 to 70

  • Raina in the Fae Realm unlocks levels 71 to 80

  • Reinath beneath Povus unlocks levels 81 to 90

You will not unlock all level ranges automatically. Higher tiers require visiting the correct trainer.

Understanding Druid Events

Druid is one of the game’s cursed skills. That means it comes with a server wide responsibility.

Several times per day, a Druid Event may trigger. One hour before the event begins, Druids receive a premonition effect icon. When the event starts, Druids stop earning XP until the emergency is resolved.

During the event, you receive a special quest directing you to the threat. Completing these events rewards Dreva’s Blessings, which are used at the Druid altar to purchase special unlocks and forms.

Non Druids can participate in the fights, but only Druids are affected by the XP pause.

Druid Forms And Travel Options

Druids unlock transformation forms as they level and spend Dreva’s Blessings.

  • Deer Form unlocks at level 25

  • Raven Form unlocks at level 50

  • Eagle Form can be unlocked through Rixie

  • Mallard Form, Owl Form, and Snow Raven Form cost 100 Dreva’s Blessings each

Travel forms can only be used outdoors and are automatically dispelled indoors. Some forms provide movement benefits like swim speed or nightvision.

Gear Requirements For Druids

Humanoid Druids must use wooden mainhand weapons to channel abilities. Common options include Staffs, Lutes, and Clubs.

Beast Forms also require wooden equipment such as Wooden Cow Shoes or Arachnid Harnesses to cast Druid abilities.

If you equip non wooden gear, your Druid abilities will not function correctly.

Bonus Synergy Levels

Druid gains bonus synergy levels from specific skills at certain milestones.

  • Deer at level 21 and 61

  • Mycology at level 45

  • Nature Appreciation at level 38 and 65

  • Pig at level 48

  • Rabbit at level 42

  • Shamanic Infusion at level 25

  • Survival Instincts at level 45

  • Staff at level 47

These synergy levels do not bypass the unlock requirement. They only boost Druid after it has been learned.

Can You Combine Druid And Lycanthrope

You can learn both Druid and Lycanthrope without conflict. However, you cannot use Druid abilities while in wolf form.

The skillsets do not interfere mechanically, but they do not function simultaneously in combat. Future updates may introduce items that allow limited overlap, but currently they are separate in active use.

Final Thoughts On Choosing Druid

Druid is a strong and flavorful Combat Skill, but it comes with responsibility. You must reach level 50 in another combat skill first, and you must participate in Druid Events to continue earning XP during emergencies.

If you enjoy server wide events, nature themed abilities, and transformation forms, Druid is worth the investment. Just be ready to earn it the intended way.
