Crafting Your First Survey

Early surveys require:

1 Simple Parchment
1 Basic Ink
1 Redwall Crystal

There is only a 20 percent chance to consume the Redwall Crystal, which helps with cost control early on.

You must be physically present in the zone where the survey applies before crafting it.

Once crafted, the survey map goes into your inventory.

How To Use A Survey Map

Right click the survey in your inventory.

A red blinking spot appears on your minimap briefly. An on screen message gives approximate distance.

Move toward the location. Once you are inside the 100 by 100 meter area around the treasure, right click the survey again to collect your reward.

You will gain:

Geology experience from mineral surveys
Mining experience from mining surveys

If you get attacked during use, the survey cancels. Clear nearby enemies first.

Speed Bonus Explained

After completing a survey, a short timer begins.

If you complete another survey within that timer, you trigger a speed bonus that grants extra minerals, ores, slabs, dust, or related materials.

The timer length depends on the region.

Serbule and Eltibule use a 1.5 to 3.5 minute window
Kur uses a 2.5 to 4.5 minute window
