Project Gorgon Sun Vale Zone Guide

Project Gorgon Sun Vale Zone Guide

Sun Vale is a level 30 to 45 island region in Project Gorgon that connects to Serbule and the Fae Realm through the Winter Nexus. It is a jungle island chain filled with Druids, Winter Court fairies, Ranalon invaders, trolls, animals, and several dungeons. If you are progressing past early Serbule content, Sun Vale is your next major adventure zone.

It looks warm and inviting. It is also a war zone with sharks.

How To Reach Sun Vale

To travel to Sun Vale, speak to Jurl the Boatman on the docks in northeast Serbule.

The travel fee is 200 councils. After arriving, you will unlock teleportation circles across the region for easier movement.

Sun Vale also connects to the Fae Realm through the Winter Nexus dungeon.

What Level Is Sun Vale

Sun Vale is designed for characters around level 30 to 45.

Enemies vary by sub region. Some areas are manageable at the low end of that range, while others can punish underprepared players quickly. Expect trolls, Winter Court fae, Ranalon forces, and dangerous wildlife.

If you enter at level 30, play carefully and avoid elite enemies until you understand patrol paths.

Key Areas Inside Sun Vale

Druid Camp And The Great Tree

Located on the northern end of the main island, this is one of the safer hubs in the region.

Druids are trying to contain the conflict between Ranalon and the Winter Court. Refugee fairies live on platforms around the Great Tree. Several friendly NPCs are located here for quests and interaction.

A mushroom circle lies between the Druid Camp and the Great Tree.

Agrashab And Troll Territory

A large viaduct divides troll territory from Winter Court controlled land.

An avatar of the God of Trolls can be found here. This area is more dangerous and contains high threat enemies. Do not wander through casually.

Winter Court And Winter Nexus

On the southern end of the main island, the Winter Nexus portal leads into a dungeon connected to the Fae Realm.

Winter Court fairies use this nexus to push their invasion. The Thorn of Decay can be summoned by interacting with a white crystal guarded by fairies and conscripted trolls.

This section is active combat territory and not ideal for unprepared players.

Animal Town

Along the eastern coast, a group of sentient animals have built a hidden village.

Non Animal players should be careful. Summoned Guardians patrol the borders and will attack intruders.

Several Animal NPCs are located here, including Cinnamon the rabbit.

Viedesi And Work Orders

On the western coast, Viedesi offers Work Orders. A dock is also located here for leaving the island.

If you are farming materials, this is a useful stop.

Sun Vale Dungeons

Sun Vale contains multiple dungeons:

  • Winter Nexus

  • Fish Bowl Cavern

  • Molybdenum Mine

  • Sacrificial Sea Cave

  • Underwater Cave

Winter Nexus connects to the Fae Realm and features Winter Court activity.

Fish Bowl Cavern is underwater and shows organized Ranalon farming behavior.

Molybdenum Mine is an underwater mining dungeon guarded by hostile forces and sharks along access routes.

Sacrificial Sea Cave involves Ranalon rituals tied to Enoyos.

Underwater exploration is common in Sun Vale. Bring proper swimming capability.

Teleportation Circles In Sun Vale

There are six Council Teleportation Circles:

  • South of the dock leading back to Serbule

  • Northwest of the Druid Camp

  • Near Agrashab ruins

  • Underwater between the main island and southeast island

  • East edge of Animal Town

  • Northern edge of the northeast island

Unlock these early to reduce travel time.

Meditation Pillars

Sun Vale contains five Meditation Pillars that unlock specific Meditation Combos:

  • Laggard Strike

  • Stunning Bruises

  • Toss and Barrage

  • Cobra of Life

  • Bruising Strike

If you use Unarmed or combo based builds, these are worth collecting.

Sun Vale includes activity quests and timed events such as Horse Thieves.

Keep an eye on regional events if you are farming mount materials or rare drops.

Major Enemy Types

You will encounter:

  • Winter Court fae

  • Ranalon soldiers and casters

  • Trolls

  • Sharks and aquatic threats

  • Elementals

  • Elite named foes

Some named enemies are significantly stronger than standard mobs. Scout carefully before engaging.

What Makes Sun Vale Unique

Sun Vale is one of the first regions where faction conflict becomes obvious. Druids, Ranalon, Winter Court fae, and Animal Town all interact in this space.

The mix of jungle terrain, underwater caves, and faction warfare makes it one of the most dynamic mid level zones in the game.

It was previously referred to as The Fae Lands in early development updates.

Final Thoughts

Sun Vale is a mid game turning point in Project Gorgon. It introduces layered faction conflict, underwater dungeons, and higher enemy density.

Come prepared, unlock teleport circles early, and respect the sharks. Sun Vale looks warm and peaceful until something with ice magic or teeth decides otherwise.
