Project Gorgon Quarter Hoop Guide
Quarter Hoops in Project Gorgon are small metal bands used mainly for cask related crafting. They are created through Blacksmithing and are also sold by Tadion in Serbule. If you are working on Carpentry or anything involving casks, you will need a steady supply of these.
How To Get Quarter Hoops In Project Gorgon
Quarter Hoops are primarily obtained by crafting them with the Blacksmithing skill. They can also be purchased directly from Tadion if you prefer to skip crafting.
There are no quests or drops that reward Quarter Hoops. Crafting or buying them is the only reliable method.
Crafting Quarter Hoops With Blacksmithing
Quarter Hoops are a level 1 Blacksmithing recipe. The recipe is simple and is often used early to gain easy skill experience.
Requires 1 Simple Metal Slab
Produces 1 Quarter Hoop
Grants first time and repeat XP
The recipe is taught by Tadion as part of Blacksmithing training. You must have Armor Patching at level 25 to learn Blacksmithing at all.
Buying Quarter Hoops From Tadion
If you do not want to craft them, Tadion sells Quarter Hoops directly. He is located at the forge market inside Serbule Keep.
Cost is 100 councils per Quarter Hoop
Available without favor requirements
Tadion also buys metal slabs if you need coin
This is useful if you need a small amount quickly.
What Quarter Hoops Are Used For
Quarter Hoops are used as ingredients in Carpentry recipes. Their main purpose is cask construction and related crafting systems.
They are not consumed directly, cannot be gifted, and have no combat or utility use on their own.
Skills Connected To Quarter Hoops
Quarter Hoops sit at the intersection of a few trade skills.
Blacksmithing creates them
Carpentry consumes them
Armor Patching is required to unlock Blacksmithing
They are an early game material that supports crafting progression rather than combat.
Final Note
Quarter Hoops are simple but important if you plan to work with casks in Project Gorgon. Craft them early with Blacksmithing or buy them from Tadion when you are short on time. Keeping a few on hand saves extra trips later when Carpentry starts asking for them.
