Project Gorgon: How To Get Off Anagoge Island

Project Gorgon: How To Get Off Anagoge Island

To get off Anagoge Island in Project Gorgon, you must complete the early island tasks and unlock one of the two escape methods, most commonly through Elmetaph at the Lighthouse. You cannot swim away because sharks and currents will kill you. The intended way out sends you to Serbule after finishing the island’s core progression.

Here is how it works step by step.

Where You Start

Anagoge Island is the starting zone for Humans, Elves, and Rakshasa. It is designed as a tutorial area covering levels 1 to 10.

You are meant to:

  • Explore

  • Talk to NPCs

  • Learn basic combat and skills

  • Solve at least one major puzzle

Trying to brute force your way out will not work.

The Main Way Off The Island

The most common escape route involves Elmetaph at the Lighthouse in the north west hills.

What to do:

  • Talk to Elmetaph

  • Complete his related tasks

  • Interact with the island’s obelisks

  • Progress his solution chain

This unlocks the proper teleportation route to Serbule.

The game heavily nudges you toward this path.

The Teleportation Platform Method

There is a glowing Teleportation Platform on the island.

You cannot use it immediately.

To activate it, you must:

  • Learn Teleportation basics

  • Complete required island progression

  • Fulfill necessary conditions tied to Elmetaph

Once activated, it sends you to Serbule.

This is the intended exit.

What Does Not Work

You cannot:

  • Swim away

  • Force travel through the ocean

  • Bypass progression

Great White Sharks and strong currents block swimming attempts.

The island is locked by design.

After You Leave

When you exit Anagoge Island, you arrive in Serbule.

From there, you gain access to:

  • Larger quest chains

  • More skills

  • Guild systems

  • Council Vault Storage

  • Expanded Favor opportunities

You can return to Anagoge later if needed.

Quick Checklist To Leave

If you are stuck, make sure you have:

  • Spoken to Elmetaph

  • Explored the Lighthouse

  • Interacted with obelisks

  • Attempted the Teleportation Platform

  • Completed major island guidance steps

If something is not activating, you likely skipped a dialogue or missed a required interaction.

Final Thoughts

Anagoge Island is not meant to trap you, but it is meant to teach you how Project Gorgon works. Explore, talk to everyone, and follow the Lighthouse path.

Once Elmetaph’s chain is complete, your way to Serbule opens up and the real game begins.
