What VIP Membership Gets You in Project Gorgon
VIP Membership in Project Gorgon is a paid option that supports the game’s development while providing quality of life benefits. It does not increase combat power or unlock exclusive gameplay systems. VIP mainly focuses on storage, convenience, and tools that help long term players manage characters and progression more smoothly.
If you play often or juggle multiple characters, VIP is designed to make the experience less restrictive, not easier.
What VIP Membership Includes
VIP benefits apply automatically as soon as you log in with an active subscription. These bonuses apply across your entire account.
You receive the following core benefits.
4 extra character slots
15 extra inventory slots for each character
25 extra slots in each item transfer chest
Access to offline advancement through Autodidacticism
Access to special in game stat and character reports
There are currently 4 item transfer chests, which equals 100 extra shared slots. 2 more chests are planned, bringing the total to 150 extra slots in the future.
Extra Character And Inventory Space
Extra space is one of the most noticeable VIP perks. Additional character slots allow more build and race experimentation without deleting characters.
The extra inventory slots apply to every character you own. This makes gathering, crafting, and questing feel less cramped and reduces constant inventory cleanup.
Item Transfer Chest Expansion
VIP significantly expands item transfer chests, which are shared across your account.
Each chest gains 25 extra slots while VIP is active. With 4 chests currently available, that gives 100 extra shared slots.
This benefit is especially valuable if you play multiple characters or move crafting materials between builds.
Offline Advancement With Autodidacticism
VIP unlocks the Autodidacticism skill, which allows limited offline progression while logged out.
The skill unlocks immediately when VIP is active, but it must still be leveled. To begin using it, you need to visit Hirochi in Rahu.
Offline advancement is slower than active play, but it helps with long grinds and steady progress when you cannot log in every day.
In Game Reports And Character Tools
VIP members gain access to special in game reports. One example is a character data dump that shows stats in a spreadsheet style layout.
These tools help with build planning, stat comparison, and understanding how bonuses interact. They do not increase power, but they make optimization easier.
Future VIP Features
The developers have stated that more VIP features are planned. These may include chat customization, unique emotes, and monthly cosmetic gift redemptions.
All planned features are intended to be cosmetic or social rather than power related.
What Happens When VIP Ends
If your VIP subscription ends, all extra benefits are removed, but nothing is deleted.
Items and characters enter an overflow state rather than being lost.
Inventory Overflow Behavior
If VIP ends while your character is carrying extra items, your character becomes overburdened.
You can still access your normal inventory slots. Extra items are hidden until space is freed. As items are removed, hidden items reappear automatically.
Transfer Chest Overflow Behavior
Transfer chests behave the same way. When overflowing, only the normal slots are visible.
You cannot add items while a chest is overflowing. Removing visible items causes hidden items to reappear one by one.
Character Slot Overflow Behavior
If VIP ends and you have more characters than normal slots allow, only the most recently played characters remain accessible.
Other characters are hidden, not deleted. Deleting a visible character causes another hidden character to appear.
Autodidacticism After VIP Ends
Any levels earned in Autodidacticism are retained permanently.
You cannot use the skill without VIP active. If a character was in an Autodidacticism hangout when VIP ended, that hangout is canceled.
Is VIP Membership Worth It?
VIP Membership is worth it if you play Project Gorgon regularly and feel friction from inventory limits, character slots, or time constraints. The benefits save time and reduce annoyance rather than making your character stronger. If you log in often, craft heavily, or manage multiple characters, VIP quickly feels comfortable.
If you play casually or focus on a single character, VIP is optional and easy to skip without missing core gameplay.
