Project Gorgon Character Slots Guide: How To Get More Slots
Project Gorgon starts you with 1 character slot. To get more character slots, you must activate VIP or purchase extra character slot DLC from the official store. There is no in game council cost option for unlocking additional slots.
That is the system in full. Now here is how it works in detail.
Base Character Slot Limit
Every standard account begins with a single character slot.
That means you can create one character by default. If you want storage alts or different race builds, you will need to upgrade your account.
Some older accounts may have more due to past purchase structures. For most players, the starting point is one.
VIP And Extra Character Slots
VIP is the most common way players increase character slots.
With active VIP, you receive:
4 additional character slots
5 total character slots while VIP is active
VIP also gives extra inventory space, extra saddlebag slots, larger transfer chests, access to Autodidacticism for offline advancement, and special character reports.
Important details:
The 4 extra slots are tied to active VIP time
If VIP expires, you keep all created characters
You cannot create new characters beyond your base plus permanent slot limit until VIP is renewed
To activate VIP:
Log into your account on the official Project Gorgon website
Go to account management or the store page
Purchase a VIP plan or a shop bundle that includes VIP time
Buying Permanent Character Slot DLC
There is also extra character slot DLC available.
When you purchase the DLC:
Your total character slots increase permanently
These permanent slots stack with VIP while VIP is active
For example:
Base account gives 1 slot
VIP raises total to 5 while active
DLC can increase your permanent total beyond that
Combined, accounts can reach up to 8 slots depending on purchases
Unlike VIP, DLC slots do not expire.
What Happens When VIP Ends
If your VIP subscription runs out:
All existing characters remain on your account
You simply cannot create new characters above your permanent limit
Renewing VIP restores access to the extra slots immediately
No characters are deleted due to VIP ending.
Best Way To Get More Character Slots
If you want permanent extra characters without maintaining a subscription, buy the character slot DLC.
If you want additional storage, offline advancement, and multiple convenience perks along with more slots, VIP provides the best overall value while active.
